Terms of Service
Last updated 22 August 2026
These terms apply when you use Perch: the website, the mobile app, and any card you buy from us. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who you are contracting with
Perch is a trading name of Ticket Aura Limited.
What the service does
Each card or QR code you create stores a permanent link on our platform. When someone taps or scans it, we forward them to whichever destination you have set at that moment. You can change that destination at any time without reprinting anything.
Your account
- Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up and when you place an order.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.
What you may not point a card at
You are responsible for every destination you set. You must not point a card, QR code or link at anything that:
- Impersonates another person, business or brand
- Collects passwords, card numbers or personal data under false pretences
- Distributes malware, or is unlawful in the country where the card is used
- Is obscene, harassing, or promotes violence or hatred
We may suspend or remove a card that breaches this, without notice where the risk is serious. Abuse of one link puts every other customer’s cards at risk, because the domain they share can be flagged by browsers.
Reviews and platform rules
If you use a card to collect reviews, you must follow the rules of the platform you send people to. In particular, Google prohibits offering incentives in exchange for reviews, and prohibits filtering customers by how satisfied they are before showing them a review link, sometimes called review gating. Perch does not provide any such filter, and using our cards to run one is a breach of these terms and may get your business profile penalised.
Buying cards
- Prices are shown at checkout and include any stated delivery charge.
- Payment is taken when you place the order, on Stripe’s secure checkout pages. Your card details are entered with Stripe and never reach us.
- A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If we cannot fulfil it we will tell you and refund you in full.
- We deliver to the United Kingdom only. Cards are printed to order, so allow a few working days before dispatch.
- Cards that we program and permanently lock for you cannot be reused for a different card, which we tell you before locking.
Cancelling before we post it
You can cancel an order yourself at any point before it is dispatched. Open your orders and use Cancel this order. If you had paid, we refund the full amount to the card you used, automatically, and your bank will usually show it within five to ten working days.
Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled and its delivery address cannot be changed, because the parcel is with the carrier and out of our hands. If the address is wrong and the order has not gone yet, cancel it and order again with the right one.
Changing your mind after it arrives
If you are a consumer you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you have changed your mind, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Email support@perchcards.com with your order reference. You do not have to give a reason.
- You then have 14 days from telling us to send the goods back.
- You pay the return postage. We recommend a tracked service, because until it reaches us the parcel is your responsibility.
- We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you showing us proof of postage, whichever is sooner. The refund goes to the card you paid with.
- We refund the original delivery charge as well, up to the cost of our standard delivery. If you chose a faster service, the difference is not refunded.
- Goods should come back unused and in a condition we can resell. We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value from handling beyond what you would do in a shop.
The exception: personalised cards
Cards printed with your own logo, text or artwork cannot be returned once we have started making them, because they are made to your specification and are of no use to anyone else. This is the exemption in regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for goods made to a consumer’s specification or clearly personalised.
It applies only to changing your mind. It takes nothing away from your rights if the goods are faulty, which are set out next, and it does not apply before we start production, which is why cancelling early is always open to you.
If something is faulty
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. A card that will not take a link, arrives damaged, or was printed wrongly by us is faulty, and personalisation makes no difference to any of this.
- Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it and have a full refund, including what you paid for delivery. We pay the return postage.
- After 30 days we will repair or replace it. If that does not put it right, you can have a refund, which we may reduce to reflect the use you have had.
- For the first six months a fault is assumed to have been there when it was delivered, unless we can show otherwise. You do not have to prove it.
Tell us at support@perchcards.com with your order reference and a photograph if the problem is visible. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Subscriptions
- A paid plan renews automatically at the price and interval shown when you subscribe, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancelling stops the next payment; your plan continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- When a paid plan ends, your cards keep working. The limits of the free plan apply again, so you may not be able to create new links until you are back within them.
- Buying a card may include a period of a paid plan. That period is stated at the time and ends when it expires unless you subscribe.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before increasing a recurring price, so you can cancel first.
Availability
We work to keep card links resolving reliably, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you have paid for, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.
Your content
Menus, logos, images and links you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running the service and producing anything you order, and you confirm you have the right to use them. If you upload a logo you do not own the rights to, that is your responsibility, not ours.
Liability
We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury or fraud, nor anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or for the content of any destination you choose to point a card at. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. When an account closes, its card links stop resolving, and the physical cards will no longer open anything.
Complaints and governing law
Tell us first at support@perchcards.com and we will try to put things right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer law.
